Title: Starting problem today
Post by: badali on August 27, 2011, 23:21:21
When I start my car I usually reach in and turn the key and it starts instantly.  Today I had to get in and pump the gas to get it running.  It ran as usual after starting but not at high idle from the start and slow down after warm up.  I am thinking the cold start valve did not work.  Any other items I should check?  It still runs fine otherwise.

Hi
first check the small air filter on your injection pump weather it is blocked and not giving enough air for fast idel. if filter is ok then problem is injection pump thermostate. take a 12volt test lamp connect both wires to starting solonied back of injection pump and start thr car check the the lamp glow on start position.
