Title: looking for a rebuilt transmission for 69 280SE

Any recommendations on where to look for a rebuilt transmission for a 69 280se automatic. I know someone who needs a rebuild and trying to steer him into the most reasonable and cost effective scenario where he won't have any troubles.

Hello Perry,

Is is the early 16 bolt pan automatic or the later 4 bolt pan automatic? The 280SE used both versions and they are not interchangeable.
