That is today's 3 minute plus Autoweek TV spot. At about 2:20 into it, my car is briefly shown; some moments later, a nice head shot and then mention of this "vintage Mercedes". What a hoot. You have to watch a brief commercial; listen to some other news. If of interest, and you have 3.5 minutes, watch the whole thing and see what Sir Stirling Moss just bought his wife...you can also learn about the Concours of America.
Oh, yeah--my wife watched it and said "Vintage? Really?" ;)

Michael: very nice. I am having my 69 280SE coupe claybarred on Sunday for the show. Looking forward to the event. I got my package yesterday from the organizers.

Doug--having it claybarred? I do the Pagoda at least every year--takes me more time to wash the car than to clay bar it! I'm quite confident this is a project you can do yourself! Bought the kit for $15 (with our useless American dollars...) a couple of years ago and its been a fabulous tool to prep before wax.

Re: TV exposure. The Russell Investment 111 body ad (on CNBC) only shows about 3 seconds of the coupe(?). Russell Investment had coverage in Barron's this week. There's got to be a good story about how the MB found its way into an ad with that spin-head hitting the grill, steam, smashed fingers.?.?.?s Not totally positive...............

It gets better...

If you look carefully, there is a car behind thost beautiful models...
What is kind of funny is that the models themselves took out there cell-phone cameras and took photos of themselves next to the Pagoda! Not the Bugatti Veyron, or the classic Packards, or the stunning Jaguar...

I could do with your number plate! ;)
