We had our third meeting here in Northern Illinois. After replacing the rear spring pads on Ernie's white 280Sl we went a local pizza place for lunch. We did not get any pictures when 6 of us meet at the Lake County fair grounds a few weeks ago. We just had a good time comparing cars.

Hi
I was interested in knowing if you had any further photo's of the green SL with the Whitewall tyres. I have a Dark Olive 250SL with all black tyres and am debating whether I should put whitewalls on my car or not. Seeing the full car with the whitewalls would be very helpful in my decision.
Thanks for your help if you can. :D

I'm not sure of the color code of this car - does it help?

For color details on this car, you would have to ask owner "Allen F", who started this thread:

Here is a picture of my 268 green with white walls. A little fuzzy; as I said in another post will have to try again next Year. Need to take with a lower Pixel so it can be sized correctly to this site.

Bruce,
What is the color of the soft top on your 268 green Pagoda? From the group photo, it looks darker than tan.

In the group picture my matching hard top is on the car. My soft top is tan. When I get around to a repaint in the furure I hope to find a green top as is listed on by data card. I really like the look of your car. Besides being a US 280Sl with the head rests and different head lights our cars are similar.
