Ha. As if I don't have enough SL books! Perhaps I'll put it on my Christmas list.

I bought the book and have had it on my desk for a couple weeks now.  It is so uninspiring that I haven't even taken it home to read in detail yet.  8 pages on the 113, 12 pictures of 7 different cars, a chart on specs and a very brief timeline.

Let comeone else buy it for you - I'm sure it weill be on the discount racks by Christmas.

Come on now Bonnyboy, fess up, the real reason you haven't taken it home yet is that like the rest of us Pagoda Boys you know SWMBO will give you another spanking for buying more "children's books".

I must agree - all books come into the house via the garage...when the coast is clear...... I took home the book just last weekend to make room in my expansive office - picture this, my office measures 6' wide 10' deep. I have my office desk, a visitors chair and 6' wide credenza and bookshelf.  By taking just that book home I now have some room to breathe.

I did buy another book though which was awsome... Mercedes-Benz SL 113 Series: 1963-1971 by Brian Long.  I preordered from Indigo it the summer of 2010, 1 whole year prior to getting my car.

It arrived just before Christmas 2011 and I have read it twice and some parts more than twice.  I finally figured out that the "D" sticker in the trunk didn't relate to Denmark at all.  It was an option in 1969.

Denmark is DK. D is Germany.
