280 SL YEAR 1969 SERIAL NUMBER  OF MANUAL TRANSMISSION  IS 111 2610 701 131268 B5F

CAN ANYONE  TELL ME IF THIS GEAR BOX  CAME ORIGINAL WITH MY CAR WHICH VIN NUMBER IS

No,

You have to compare your serial no. of the gear box with the number on the data card.
Ask Mercedes Classic Center for your data card if you haven't yet.

My gearbox serial number is on the bottom right behind the bell housing. Maybe a different position for the 280 SL.

The "111 2610 701" is a casted housing number, something like a parts number.
