Looked at a vey nice 300 SE 112 Fintail last weekend at a show, good history etc 60k the interior is very good and original the body has had repairs and the engine rebuilt,to what standard its hard to say without delving further,what are the scary thing to lookout for on the air suspension and engine.The chrome around the back lights has faded the rest of the chrome is good. I saw it for sale in a mag a couple of weeka ago for £27,000 at the show it was up for £18,000 still looks very much over priced to me. Many thanks. Mike.

Hi, Mike,
I think you need very very deep pockets too maintain the air suspension and that M189 engine.
Many of the air valves and engine parts are NLA.

is it a four door sedan or coupe?
ask for repair records.......makes a big difference as to what you have to come up with to
maintain it.
brakes, brake hoses, fuel system, valve job, transmission work, front end, steering bo, air suspension etc etc
it's a very rare bird , and only a rare bird would want that car!
make a low offer, you can always go higher

Thanks Naj I had an idea it would be scary it would have to be a lot cheaper than advertised as you cannot tell as to what standard the work has been carried out,it had a total engine rebuild new pistons etc.Hi m300cab its a 4 door sedan I agree it needs to be looked at very carfully before parting with any money Many thanks.Mike.

they are asking way too much. I'd pay no more than $7000 for that car but US prices are likely lower.
