As I nervously clicked on your post from a work computer, I was pleased that the topic covered what I expected.   ;)

I just ordered one from Adsit and received it this week.  It was $149 and came with a cover.  When I pulled it out the box I didn't think it would be hefty enough, but was pleasantly surprised once I put it together as it was really solid.

( I vote for Pam Anderson :o - wait a second...... she broke hers a while ago... :-\ forget it )

  Intersting.......

A while back someone else bought a top hoist from the same company ( ADSIT) and thought they should be sleeping with the fishes for the dangerous crap they sell  because of missing parts and placing everyones lives in mortal danger.

Yup. Real interesting....... :)

I bought a folding one from Performance Products in FL recently and it was a piece of junk. I returned it and bought a non-folding one from rockauto.com per 49er's (John in CA) recommendation. It is very solid and heavy duty... and much cheaper $89 plus about $20 for shipping. It appears as though you have to order a dust cover separately per website and company rep (which I did) however a dustcover is included in the storage cart box for the $89.

Couldn't be more happier with this rack from RockAuto. $89 +shipping (and it did include the cover). Glad it worked out for you Rick.

I've had good experiences with Admit, even on an issue with a headlight assembly for my E320 when the shipped a pair that didn't match. The were to both be Bosch but one wasn't. The change a few months later baas smooth as silk.

Dan, I am going to be at the ALL GERMAN CAR MEET in North Vancouver on Sunday June 26.
If the car that you want me to look at is mobile why not ask the owner to be there between 11am and 3pm
Feel free to give him my email address  or phone number, which you should have, so he can contact me ?
