Title: Hardtop wood trim screws
Post by: Rolland on April 13, 2011, 22:26:30
I'm looking to find out the correct screw and finish to reinstall the wood trim around the back window and haven't been able to find an answer when searching the site.

Thanks!

Rolland

Garry,
the N 007983 002208 = 2.9 x 16mm and is chromed - don't use non-metric screws!
You may have to use a needle and poke through the rubber to find the holes using the approximate distances provided by Gus.
Since the poke holes will be covered by the wood it should not matter much.
Good luck,
Alfred

Garry, thanks very much for the info and being so quick.  Looking at the date, I don't know why it didn't pull up in my search.

Your welcome Rolland,
It was a PM to me by Alfred in answer to another question so the search engine would not have access to PM's
