This year we will be celebrating 125 years of the automobile and showcasingng the six generations of the SL. I am expecting Gullwings, 190SL's, Pagodas and all the rest to be there. Our Concours d'Elegance will be held on the beautiful grounds of Kingwood Estate. Not only do you get a shot at the concours to be judged, but we will have a new class for largely original cars called Silver Star Preservation Class. There is always the display class for others.
The last time we held a concours in Mansfield was in 2004 where we had sixteen pagodas in attendance.
If any of you wondered how your Pagoda will perform on the track, here is an opportunity to exersize it as you've always wanted to do on the world class Mid-Ohio sports car track.

All Pagoda owners and Pagoda lovesr: Here is an opportunity to show off your beauty. We will have the traditional Show, Street and Display classes classes and also a newer class for those who have largely original cars, the Silver Star Preservation class. This year we will be using a new 100 point scoring system.

One last appeal to all Pagoda owners:
Our event, Gemutlichkeit 2011 will be the only MBCA National Driving event and concours held this year. We will be using the new 100 point concours judging rules.
We need Pagodas .

I certainly hope a few show up! Normally I'd be there, but as you know I have an obligation set years ago. Last time we had Starfest in Mansfield, we had a Show Class, a Street Class, and a Display class of Pagodas--let's hope enough make the effort and journey. Good luck to all that do! Should be a fun time.

I am trying to get down there to look around since my car is still in pieces.
Does anyone know if I still need to register or can I just pay an admission at the show?
