Hello Nadeem,

I found a data sheet for the R11 230sl pump and posted it in this thread:

http://www.sl113.org/forums/index.php?topic=2911.0

As George points out there should be an accompanying diagram or manual but I don't have it, nor do I know what the numbers refer to. However a pump rebuilder could probably work it out, 'specially if they're conversant in German. These specs may be incorrect for the R18 pump though.

That information is useless to you. Even if you have it you need to understand what it says. Then you need the parts to fix it which you won't be able to buy. Even if you could get the parts you need special tools to calibrate the pump - good luck finding those.
And, as if the hurdles aren't high enough, then you need a test bench in order to due all the fuel flow tests and other settings.

This is job for a rebuilder to do. Aside from a few external adjustments the average owner can make, there's nothing you can do inside of the pump except screw it up. Then you still have to send it out for a rebuild.

Shameless plug...blackforest has it all.  Go to their website, www.blackforestllc.com, click on Classic Workshop>Restoration projects and then the R18z pump rebuild, you'll see the calibrating/test machine in the background.  Very vintage and very cool.

Hi Nadeem,

No translation sorry. I tried an online translator with mixed results. Startmenge = 'start quantity' (getting somewhere I thought), hutmutter = 'hat mother', hmm!

Can anyone assist?
