hi ive just discovered this site and i you guys can help. me and a friend  are working on a euro spec 1966 230 sl for a customer , i need help locating some parts ... glass , wiring  harness , headlights , taillights , any help would be appreciated , , ill get some pics up soon so you know what im workin on , ... thanks

For the taillights you will have to get nice used ones.  The red are no longer available new unless you get lucky and find a set on eBay.  They are very expensive if you find them.  Headlight bezels with glass are still available new from MB and from some vendors on eBay.  Check with the MB classic center for the parts you need as allot are still available.  Be prepared for sticker shock $$$$$ on many items.   Many members here sell used parts for reasonable prices.

I would also add that you probably should look at our Vendors List on the Home Page (under content). There are many 113 vendors out there, it may pay to shop around. A few names worth checking: Miller's, Bud's, Dave Gallon Restorations, K&K and SLS.
