Title: Fooling around with photo-effects

Sites like www.befunky.com and other offers a variety of photo effects to fool around with, it can even make pictures that look like they were taken back in the days where our cars were new - great fun and even slightly artsy...

Here's what I did to my Pagoda

You ought to get rid of the posts sticking up out of the hood, rear quarter and passenger compartment.

Hello Ulf, Great photo of a great car. I just couldn't resist posting a couple of "vintage" photos my self. These slides were taken back in November 1968, the first two were taken in Rolling Hills, CA and the last one was taken near the California, Oregon border. Car was only about 6 weeks old:-) Please excuse the poor quality as I didn't take the time to cleanup the scanned images.

John, without embarrassing me - what type of vehicle in CA should it be for?  Like a garbarge truck or a funeral transport??

Hey Doug, Not sure what kind of vehicle your plate might have come off. Passenger car plates were always three letters followed by three numbers. The plates were issued from 1963 through 1970. Yours could have been from a commercial vehicle of some sort. State owned cars (police, fire) had the word "exempt" written on them. No "vanity" plates back then either.
 Your car (and plate) must turn a lot of heads back there in Massachusetts  :-)

Thanks John!  I have a couple of different plates that I put on for photos, and the standard issue MA plate when I'm driving on the street to be legal.  My car was from CA originally, but I don't have the original plate (as you can see!).
