Title: Well, fancy that...Old Part Still Used

A funny thing happened yesterday while I was giving my wife's daily driver (Mercedes CLS350) a good wash and polish.
Got to the where the door rubber are and got one of those "hang on a minute" moments - an all to familiar looking grommet.

Closer inspection revealed the following part number: A 113 987 00 44.

Interesting to see that a part once used in pagodas is still used in the modern cars...  8)
