Hello I am Javier from Valencia, Spain. I am looking for a hardtop for a pagode w113 230sl 1966 and I would like to know if the hardtop of a 280sl w113 is the same with the same fasteners or there are something diferent, thank you very much

Yes, they are all the same in terms of dimensions - I think some of the later cars (280's) had heated rear screens, but as far as I know, that's the only difference.
Here's one for sale in Germany: http://cgi.ebay.de/Hardtop-Mercedes-Pagode-sl-w-113-/150558034621?pt=Autoteile_Zubehör&hash=item230df54abd

I'm sure this will start another 'spirited' discussion on the differences!! ;D
The other difference in the roofs is that the 230's and the early 250's had fixed handle levers, and the later 250's and 280's had detachable handles that stored in a pouch.

That was only available as an optional extra along with other extras such as, the garnish mouldings on the top (to accommodate the optional ski-rack if ordered), sunroof (very rare) and heat insulating glass etc.
Thus, cosmetically they may be different (as Doug already pointed out in terms of the locking handles), but structurally they are the same.

The sunroof was not a factory option, but only as an aftermarket extra.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that the sunroof was a rare factory option.

No, sorry. Kollandsrud is correct
There is factory literature listing all options, just look in it
The vendors for sliding roof were Golde or Webasto companies
