Has anyone seen this hatchback? Does it really exist..anyone know anything about it?

It was for sale here in Spain near Madrid a few years ago. Never got around to have a look at it, i believe it sold to someone in the Canary islands.

Why oh why would anyone do that? At least the front grille should have been left alone.
