Title: Spot the deliberate mistook

 :D :D

And yes, it's an ad in the January Classic and Sports Car magazine placed by MB Special Products division at MB Brooklands. Car is for sale at £60k. Sorry about the pic quality, I snapped it with my phone after finishing the magazine

Despite the mistake in the years, it took them six years to build that car?  Must be pretty special.

I've never heard of the concave roof explained as adding balance to "such a lightweight coupe". Without going back to the definitive literature (Guenther Engelen's "Vom Barock zur Pagode") my recollection is that it was to add glass / visibility surface.
And there's no reference to a soft-top, referring to the car as a coupe. Wonder if that makes it a California Coupe?

It's pretty bad when the manufacturer itself starts to spread misinformation.....
