I am looking for some feedback from anyone who has had experience using a car bag for winter storage. What are the Pros and Cons of using such a bag.
I live in mild climate and my garage is clean, dry and relatively free of dust or dirt. My only concern is possible rodent intrusion. I recently had pack rats chew through the wiring in my Toyota Tundra truck. The truck is driven daily and parked outside at night, while my 280SL is inside a clean garage, it will sit for 30 to 90 days over the winter before being driven. I am concerned rodents may become an issue and was interested in learning if car bags could keep my parked vehicles safe.

There's been prior discussin on this before. I don't know if it will keep those pesky rodents out or not. Perhaps a good pest control company might be in order?
Here's the prior discussion.

I can suggest the use of a little electronic device that emits an ultrasonic noise, not audible to humans, that will keep rodents out of the area. We use them in our second home in France, which particularly during the summertiime mice and other rodents tended to make theirs, until we put in a couple of these devices. You should be able to pick them up at garden or hardware stores and they are an 'environmentally sound' approach, compared to using something like poison (which BTW also cause a horrific death to the animals concerned).

That would be one options that I can certainly take into consideration. Thank you

Jim - here's another option! (Yes, those are mouse holes!)

Was cat on roof inoperative?

The mice were in the car when I bought it, and did the damage to the roof (probably before my ownership) - but the cat got them out, and kept them out!
