Title: front grille screens

would anyone know if there are replacements available other than from MB for the tin screens behind the front grille ,  cant justify the new mb cost at the moment!)

any leads greatly appreciated !   Thanks

ps   is this the correct name of these parts ???

Look on eBay.  There are a few listed occasionally.  Type in 113 grill or 230 250 280 SL grill.  Prices vary quite a bit on these.  Here is a link for the search I just did.

Hello PMO,

IMHO: Keep the old ones. ;)
The new factory replacements are supposed to be made of plastic and no longer made of aluminum - and expensive. >:(
Try to fix yours, get them welded if necessary.
Unless you want to try to find some out there in the web (ebay or elsewhere).
