I have a 1967 250sl, the interior is in good shape, just old and worn. I'm considering replacing it. Any idea of how much it would cost? Looking for some rough estimates.
Thanks,
Alex D

Square weave carpet 867.00
Leather fr seats 1313.00
head rest covers (2) 175.00
lid cover 194.00
4 pc pads 636.00
1/2 hide 363.00
door panel kit 666.00
head rest foam 230.00
GAHH will give you a 15% discount if you pay for shipping. If you want MB tex it will cost less since the above prices are for leather. Hope this helps. There are cheaper prices out there but quality might suffer.

If your leather is worn, but intact a treatment with colour coded dye is an option - saw a pair of very tatty seats in a Bentley Mulsanne become like new on Discovery Channel...
Maybe this link will do the trick: http://www.liquidleather.com/

Don't forget the sunvisors, I think they are less costly now than when I did my interior. They cost over $700.00 for the pair and you didn't even get a vanity mirror on the passenger side. The little gaskets behind the gauges were $15.00 each X 3. I put about $6000.00 in parts and that included sending the dash parts to Bud's to be recovered professionally. I did everything else myself. Stuff sure adds up. You are going to want to check out the heater core, heater, and firewall pad when you have it apart also. Don't forget to hook up the oil pressure line when reassembling.

If you redo them ...
...redo them in the correct color (ivory, light-grey or bambus - depending on your interior color) or get correct replacements (see pic attached) but DON'T get them recovered in leather-interior color which is totally incorrec and ugly. This is not a 190 SL ! have Have them relined with (somehow correct) plastic foil or at least MB-Tex but not leather
Just my 2 cents...
