Title: Glove box- Interior 1970 280 sl

i have a 1970 280sl with Cognac mb tex (8006). Does anyone know how the inside of the glove box should be lined? I have heard both,  black or the same as the cars interior. Currently mine has a cream cloth lining. Any help would be appreciated!

My 1970 280SL glove box is lined with the same dark brown MB-Tex as the interior of my car.

Mine is also the same as seats/door panel black MBtex btw does anyone know where I can get a glove box? PO cut mine for stereo. ???  seawolf71

I think I saw a used glove box on ebay when I recently googled 280 sl glove box...
