Title: plastic tension rod holder
Post by: rmmchl on July 14, 2010, 01:29:50
does anyone have a close up picture or know which direction the grey plastic holder  is supposed to be screwed onto the bracket on the car body? . Also,I have 2 number 6 metric bolts and washers. screwing the rod holder on. I have seen pictures of 2 screws here instead. Does anyone know where I can obtain the number 6 metric screws for this application, if that's what supposed to be used?

 :o :o

Do I see this correctly??
John's grey holder  is broken ...??? Really? The high res pic suggests something like that. :o

Can't really see that clearly on James' car.
Early 230ies should have this "plasic tension rod holder" (nice word) with a metal base, not with a plastic base.
 :D ;)

Best,

Hi Achim, good eye as usual -- mine is a replacement part. I'll have to look at my old one to see if it was the original. And it does look like a crack on John's but maybe they were supposed to be that way  ;) ...
