Hi All,
My cars data card says its a 906G - Light Blue Metallic.
Ive ordered a small amount of 906G touch up from a local car store, the problem is they have it listed as Blue/Grey and the colour looks far too dark.
Anyone any clues?

go to the Technical Manual, click on Data Cards and Codes, then Paint Codes.
Your paint code 906G is the very last one listed - it says the name is Grey Blue. Paint normally looks darker until it dries fully. I would test it out before applying in a conspicuous place.

Try these guys. I have had good results with color matching.

As an alternative I have happily used www.towerpaint.com. Prices are lower and the spray pattern from their aerosol can tips are superior. They also sell small touch-up bottles (w/ brush) and other accessories items.

Are you certain the paint you have on the car now is original? Just checking -- as a respray may have altered it a bit? I think Dick M. here has 906... Here is a shot (the one in middle).

Thanks guys... my car is definately the colour shown on this website.... in fact that car looks identical to mine! even same interior... dont recognise the chap though.
I have returned the paint to "hellfrauds" and will try an alternative supplier.

Mine's 906. Have a chat with Ray at Derrick Wells as he had some made up for mine last October when it failed the MOT (under the brake servo).m It's a really good match and IIRC is from MB (can is still in the boot)
