Hi
Would anyone be able to kindly post some close up pictures of various points along a rocker panel cover on either their good condition original or well restored 280, including the front and back near the wheel arches, and also the underside as it meets the underbody.
I've noticed on mine that there are actually only a few screws in place along the side, but there are many more screw holes, so I'm guessing that either the previous owner didn't think all the screws were necessary, or they have dropped out along the way.
I want to get them looking right, but while I'm at it I might take them off and reattach so that I can take a look at the condition of the metal behind.
Does anyone have the specifications of the screws used to attach the covers?
Thanks
David

Thanks for those - they are a great help.
What are those covers you have on the jack holes? Mine doesn't seem to have them. Are they supposed to be there on all 113s?

Those plastic covers are jack hole covers and is fitted to all W113's.
It is still available from Mercedes: part number A113 899 00 08.
Hope this helps.
