Hello all. I am a proud owner of 1969 280sl and a 1968 280se. Love both, but am having a difficult time getting info on 280se. The vin ends 000017. I was told that this is one of 80 vehicles built for MB showrooms in 1968 to be displayed on the floor. Can anyone shed light on this topic for me?

Give the Classic Center a call.  They may have some info about it.
