Title: Ignition timing 230SL

Please could someone help me with Ignition timing. I have restorated 230 SL now and I am not sure what is the right setting to be used for timing. I have 230 Sl -66 and distributor JFUR 6 (R) 0231116051 with ignition retard. In the manual shows 2 +/-2 ??? with Vacuum. If I understood right timing tolerance = from 2 BTDC up to 2 ATDC. I adjusted timing to 8 BTDC with Starter speed. Idle speed (800 RPM) with vacuum timing is about 2 BTDC. With 1500 RPM timing is about 23 BTDC. Any comments? should I still adjust a bit?

Adjust to 30* BTDC @ 3000 rpm

Thanks, maybe the best way to adjust 3000 RPM 30 BTDC.
