Hi all,
They tell me that it's the same flex disk for many years. Why does it appear than my new flex disk doesn't fit?
Here's pictures:
The first picture compares the two. Notice that every other bolt hole is raised on the new one. The raised portion does NOT fit inside the hole on the drive shaft!

Here's the drive shaft, as you can see, the holes in the drive shaft are too small to fit around the raised portion on the new disk (except the one that's worn), so it looks like this just isn't going to work!

the 123 part number flex disc would be for a 280SL with the R107 chassis. Not the W113 pagoda chassis.
This is the wrong part. This part does fit on lots of Mercedes from 1968 - 1980's, but not on yours.
The correct part number
