Title: Seeking picture of MBTex (Saffron) interior - code 144

Hello All,

I have been lurking this site for some time and really appreciate the wealth of information and environment.  After many years of casually looking, I have just purchased a 1970 280SL (and '67 250SL).  I got the data card and would like to compare a picture of the original interior with what is in the car now.  The code is 144 - Saffron on Signal Red (568) exterior.  Does anybody have a picture?

Assuming you are referring to your 280SL.
According to the chart I have, code 144 should be Parchment(8014) Tex with Cream headliner and Dark Gray(7006) carpets.
I do not show Saffron as a color option on a 280SL.

Yes, I am referring to the 280SL.  the interior color code says "144 - pergament mbtex".  I googled it and came up with the "saffron".  I must have looked at the wrong chart.  What you are saying sounds correct.
