Title: EZ Top Hoist

I am looking for a hoist for the hardtop 67 230 the ez top hoist web page seems to be out of business. Does anyone know of another type of hoist

Buds Benz (www.budsbenz.com) also sells a HD hoist (the one with fours straps).

Thanks guys - I tried the ez hoist email but no luck - i will try calling bens but from what i read on this board the 4 strap hoist seems to have problems

As one of those who did have trouble, I'd say the problem was more with the plastic buckles than the fact that the hoist had four straps. If you are somewhat handy, I believe "The Lews" wrote somewhere about how he modified the 4-strapper to use heavy-duty ratchet-style straps that appear to be fairly fail-safe.

By the way, and maybe only coincidentally, the company which sold me mine seems to have vanished.

.......why not have some fun and make your own.....have a look and my previous posts,  this one is bullet prove solid, no hooks , no straps....... and stores  in the rafters of your garage...
