Title: What hole??
Post by: mulrik on March 15, 2004, 13:32:49
Could anyone please tell me what this hole is for (see attachment)?? It may be a bit difficult to see, but what you are looking at is the lower back of the front wheel arch, and the hole is right there on the corner on both sides of the car. Do you have this hole in your cars and is it plugged by a rubber plug??
Thanks!!
BTW Can't wait til spring arrives!! 8)

Could it be a drain for the fresh air scoop in front of the windshield? If water gets in there, it needs to go somewhere.

If you have A/C this will be the drain for the condensate from the A/C unit mounted in the car.  This is the spot where mine started to rust so make sure you coat the bare metal sufficiently.
