Title: Castrol Magnetec

I am thinking of changing my engine oil from Castrol  GTX 10W40 to Castrol Magnatec 10W40 its a semi synthetic oil, has anyone any thaughts on the mater or is ayone running on it at the moment.I just thaught it might afford better protection for short journeys. Cheers.  Mike.  Liverpool.

Hi, Mike,

I also use semi-synthetic 10W40 engine oil but not usually Castrol, if thats any help  :(
