Title: Gas gauge bounces and Door Open light flickers on and off.

While getting into the car and sitting down (kind of making the car bounce very slightly), the "door open" light flickers on and off.  Also the fuel gauge bounces up and down from top to bottom of the gauge and I hear a very slight buzz.  It does this sometimes and sometimes it does not.  Then while driving the door open light flickers on and off and the doors are shut tight.  The gas gauge bounces up and down sometimes when I stop at a traffic light or such.  I am at a loss as to why, has anybody had this happen or have any ideas?

i had the problem with the bouncing fuel guage, turned out the my fuel sender was all gunked up, i just ended up buying a good used unit for 50 bucks and all was well after that

Jesse,

Pull the cabin light down and check that the wires are tight in their connections.  Drive with the light hanging down and see it it still flickers.
