Gentlemen.........
I am considering ordering a 123 Ignition System for my 1967 Mercedes 250 SL. Leen APK has them for Euro $279, and they tell me that includes shipping and handling.
This would be my first time for ordering anything from "overseas", and I'm wondering if there are other costs associated with such a purchase...such as payment to get through customs or whatever?
As far as you know...would there be any other costs above and beyond the Euro $279?
Thanks.....

Just ask them put declared value under $400.00 US, the invoice should be under name (not a company) & you'll be all set.

Don't know if it is relevant to the US (certainly for Canada), someone can correct me if I am wrong, but you may also want to specify they send it by post rather than with a courier. Couriers will generally always have it pass through their broker and you will get dinged for brokerage fees and the associated taxes if any. I always specify sending it by post, doesn't matter if it is coming from oversees or the US. The only downside to the post is that it takes a bit longer to get to you.

Thank you, Shaun and Jordan..........
I'm checking prices for the 123 distributor here in the U.S. Appreciate your feedback.
