Hi
My guess would be no, you want the roller to turn, not slide on the same spot. That is when they wear.(They have a roughened surface to grip) The nylon type material should
be self lubricating on its mounting bolt so i wouldn't grease that either. Just my thoughts.

Hi Larry .thanks for the reply I think you are correct mine had a flat spot on the roller because they where sliding not rolling,no more greasing.Cheers Mike
