Title: Boot / Trunk Hinge Spring

I'm in the process of stripping my car and have reached the last two items one of which is the boot hinge spring which looks like it needs to be taken off correctly to avoid damage to bodywork and or hands and fingers. Does anyone know how this job should be done.
