Title: Got lucky, simple fix to get more HEAT

Car started delivering less heat inside.  Noticed that when I disconnected the tie rod from heater valve to heater flap that the valve was not fully opened...maybe 2/3.  So I took off the tie rod shortened it and now when the heater flap opens the valve fully opens too!  Yes, it fully closes too.  Got lucky this time. Just thought I passed this on before you start taking things apart.

Yes it is always a good idea to start with the easy and inexpensive items first!
