I thought it would be nice to start a thread of shots of Pagodas in winter time. Here's a few

The shots of the lovely blue winter pagoda do bring back memories of the era when they were indeed used for winter driving and came complete with ski racks. Thanks for the nostalgia. A lovely glimpse thourgh time into another era.

There is something about a Pagoda in thesnow. There's a nice shot in the December '10 pagodentreff calender which inspired me to get the car and the camera out. Hopefully they will add the pic.

Andy,

These are very nice shots, this particular Blue against white snow is magical, now I wish I had a blue Pagoda. :)

Well Done.

Thanks. I've just, in the last week, treated myself to a new digital SLR with the intention of taking loads of pictures of classic cars at shows etc, especially Mercedes. I took a picture of a white car (not a pagoda) and that obviously does nothing with the white background. If there is fresh snow in the next few days i'll take some pics of a Red pagoda to see how that looks.

I agree.. blue Pagoda's in the snow are great, even when dirty... I have lots more shots, also of my car in ice, however this year they have been dumping so much salt on the roads, I haven't dared taking mine out yet! This picture is 4 or 5 years old.

The 2010 Pagodentreff Kalender has a stunning picture of a red Pagoda in the snow.  It reminded me instantly of the early 60's DB promo photos of a red Pagoda with the optional hardtop mounted ski rack at a ski resort.

Hello, there's no Pagoda out in this, but thought those of you who were at Blacklick last summer would like to see what it looks like right now!

Calling any Aussie,

Anybody got any shots of their car out and about in a typical Australian winter - just to cheer our friends up in the Northern hemisphere?

OK- i apologise that i have not found another setting but i was concerned that the car would not get back onto the garage and the main roads are very salty. Also, apologise for the other cars in the background ruining the shots!
