I have an oil leak from the back cover of the injection pump. Oil is dripping from the rear bracket that attaches to the block and the rear of the pump. This oil appears to be the injection pump oil, the oil you check with the little dip stick. It seems to be coming from the junction of the rear cover and the IP body.
Is there a gasket between the pump body and the back cover? (The cover has the dip stick, the idle adjust, and start/stop solenoid on it.) If there is a gasket, anyone know where to get a new one? Or what sealer to use in joining the cover to the pump body? I think it'll be fairly easy to remove the cover and repair. Thanks, Ron

Ron,
I just changed mine.
there are two gaskets one for the front of the spacer and one for the back, (same gasket twice) , replace them & you'll be set.
here is where i got mine from.

Thanks Shaun, my gaskets are not leaking at the front of the pump. The gasket (that may or may not be there) I'm talking about would go on the back of the pump. I've attached a picture from this site, showing the pump with the cover off. Is there a gasket that goes on the back of the pump shown in the picture, before you install the cover? Thanks, Ron

Hello Ron,
It takes a big o ring seal. Most likely will need to come from an IP re-builder. Try tightening the slotted screws first.
