Looking to have my emergency switch restored. Any suggestions?
Problem with the resistance wire ho is broken inside the switches....

If you have a 280SL, the the original is available from SLS, although a bit expensive at €96.
A replacement is available for €54.

Is it the same switch that is in a fintail? If so I have an untested used one. I also recently bought a hazard switch for my 114 coupe. I bought it from a Bosch retailer and it was much cheaper than buying it through MB. If it is anything like the one I have, it has a Bosch number on it and not an MB number on it...

Scott,
Could you please post a photo and the Bosch part number of the switch you got directly from Bosch?
Thanks!

"The attachments directory is not writeable" error. Anyway, here are links to the picks of the flasher for my 114 coupe. Bosch part number 0335240002, best price was at: http://www.autohausaz.com

These links will fail sometime in January when I cancel with Villagephotos due to their outage for the past month. (Migrating to photobucket presently)

Actually, according to AZ Autohaus it IS the same part as for the 280 SL.
Note: I purchased from AZ Autohaus and Bosch shipped directly to me from California. I returned the first switch because it was too "stiff". Very difficult to push back in. Second one was not really much better, but I kept it. I have 3 used ones, one of which is untested, besides the one in my car.

Interesting how no one mailed me... Should be fixed now!
