Title: Looking to have my Bosch horns restored. Any suggestions?
Post by: nate on September 11, 2009, 04:57:30
I'm planning to have my Bosch horns restored.  Can anyone recommend a good vendor to send them out to?  Does Bosch restore these still?  What should I expect to pay?  Thanks!

That previous link gives you some previous discussion here on the topic.

Also, apparently there is a guy from the 356 Registry that does it, named Julian Hardy.

If you search the previous posts on horns--it's been a long-discussed topic, you'll find what the original frequencies are.  I believe the 113's came in only one set of frequencies.  What we find today are horns "re-labeled" with incorrect frequencies and voltages, and horns replaced with incorrect horns.  I think however, that only one set ever came with the cars as standard.
