Title: Mounting the floor dimmer switch

Hello All,

I am in the process of removing the old carpet and padding in my 67 230 SL.  While removing the carpet on the drivers side (left side), I found that the previous owner had left the dimmer switch detached and held in place only by the carpet itself.

The firewall threaded holes appear intact, and I would like to reattach the dimmer properly.  I am wondering if any members know which size machine screws should be used for this application?

4mm sheet metal screws (self tappers)
