Title: Please Help Ignition Wiring

I have to put a 1971 280Sl back to it's original ignition set-up, using box under the battery
so many wires, not sure where they go....

Hey Mike,

This job can be done.  What ignition system is installed now?  Also here is a wiring diagram of the transistorized ignition system.  It may look confusing but its not too bad if you just don't think about what's going on in each box.  Just think about wires that terminate on that box and ask questions.
