Title: Removable Rear View Mirror?

In the U-Tube 230 SL selection one will find a clip that is about 14 and 1/2 minutes.  At the eleventh minute a reference is made of a "flexably mounted mirror".  At that point a man reaches over and plucks the rear view mirror from the car.  How did he do that?

The mirror is mounted by spring loaded pins. This applies to every 113 made. The mirror is break away for safety reasons but has the added advantage of being able to be snapped back into place.
