Thanks to David Gallon, Alfred Esser and myself were able to have a look at the rare  Pinin Farina bodied 230SL.

The photos do not do it justice. In the flesh it is just beautiful, maybe not to some tastes but never the less rates as one of the best restorations that I have ever seen taking it from Red to Silver. Totally stunning car.

And the red one, It was in the same garage. What car  is that for a cigar

That is a Chevrolet Corvair Monza.
