Title: Windshield wiper pivot seals

I have searched the DB without success for info on this.  I cannot seem to find anything on replacement seals or even what is the correct part of parts for this location.  After removing the nut and wiper arm there is a plastic cover then several metal washers then a "C" clip on the shaft.  No sign of a seal?  Does anyone have a picture/illustration of what this is supposed to have? 

PS this is a 250 SL.

Thanks for the info.

I looked at the site and is looks like there is just an "O" ring in the plastic cover? 

Should there be a drain hole in the area for water that collects in the recessed area?

Inside one plastic cap is: 1 hex nut, 1 metal washer, 1 fiber washer.
Why should there be a drain hole?

The drain hole is on the inner side of the scuttle panel indentation and feeds collected water into the air vent cavity and out under the bonnet drain pipes. If these drains are blocked then water will pool and can overcome the spindle seals and enter the cabin especially if the seals are old.

To be clear, the drain "hole" is a subtle gap in the sheetmetal in the bottom of the wiper divot.

I must admit that it’s quite a while since I had mine apart but my recollection is that there are drain holes underneath the air vent cover which has to be removed to check for blockages.

It is likely that I misunderstood the question - I thought Dan was looking for a drain hole in the cap.
There is indeed a small hole next to the spindle (see picture) just behind the metal screw that holds the cover.  And as David points out there is a drain mechanism through the filter underneath the flap.
