Title: csv on 1965 230sl

checked out csv and found it not spraying fuel removed from car and after examining valve found the black rubber insert all swallen and split i am in england could anyone tell me if there is a repair kit for these or anyone that recon them many thanks   mark

Hello, Mark,

There is a small 'O' ring between the solenoid and needle valve and a bigger 'O' ring between the valve assembly and inlet manifold. Are you talking about one of these?
They are available separately from MB.

hi no its not the o rings  i have removed the solenoid off the csv and there is a rubber insert about 1 cm long which is pushed in the valve have called mb here and there saying no repair kit so what now   regards mark h

Besides the 2 O rings, there are no other rubber parts in the csv.

hi naj just looked at csv tec sheet and it does not show this insert but honest i have taken thie rubber sleeve out it sits where the small o ring should be but fits down the hole where solenoid needle lives confused i am   regards marh
