Title: Fuel Injection Pump oil change
Post by: jmvsl on March 03, 2009, 17:02:16
OK I have done all the maintenance, oil and filter, fuel filter, spark plugas, new antifreeze, air filter, points, trans and diff oils, lube points, etc but the oil on the fuel injection pump! on the manual tell me how to check it and to add as needed motor oil...  but how you drain it?  it is pretty dark and I do not know if my Dad ever changed it,  please advice on how to drain it, how much oil should it take and what type of oil (viscocity) also can I use synthetic oil (like AmsOil).

Thanks in advance.

The oil needs to be sucked out as is described here:

(...  and don't forget to try the "search" function it works quite well. For example, "injection pump oil" brought up the referenced topic).
