Title: Radiator Thoughts ... Anyone bought one recently?

I have read much here about Tigris and rareparts radiators.  Has anyone used a Tigris one?  They are local, so that is a plus.  I am waiting for a call back on pricing.

The consensus on the rareparts one seemed to be really good, but I don't see them on ebay anymore.  Does anyone have any other contact info?

Haven't bought one, but I've had one re-cored using a new 3-row core. I was very satisfied with cooling results (and it looks as good as new!)
It cost only around $230 from a local and recommended radiator shop in Austin. I can supply more details if interested.

Thanks so much.  I was quoted $400 here for a recore, which seems too high.  I may shop it around here and see what I can do.  If I can't do better, it may get shipped to the Hill Country . . .  Thanks!

I would try Gernold at SL Tech in Maine
