Title: MOUSE!!!
Post by: dtuttle123 on January 10, 2009, 02:56:59
Fixing my heater levers this week...found an old mouse nest in the same place that Walter did back in 2005!  Not only do they work better, but it also smells nicer :o

From an old post by Walter in 2005...

Oh, my what a rewarding sight!

Hello all,
How many of you have removed the air intake cover, the flap and the filter to find a nice big fat mouse nest?
Seems all of the pagoda SL's I've worked on have a nest of some size in the same cavity.
Do the mice have a preference for our SL's over other cars?

Walter (not bitten yet by a nester)

I had no idea that our air intakes provided an attractive location for mice to build nests.   I guess for that matter I didn't really know that mice lived in nests.   Why don't birds also build nests in cars?  Oh wait, a bird built a nest in our Alfa when the convertible top window was missing and it was parked outside for too long...
