Title: Video game with a drifting 280sl - Catalunya
Post by: Bonnyboy on January 21, 2020, 00:16:58
I was showing off a video my daughter took of my car racing around a slalom a few years back to one of her friends and he thought it was pretty cool.   Then he showed me a video game (Forza Motorsport 6?) of a 280sl drifting around the Catalunya race track.

I think that would be fun if the car had that much power.....

He he, great point, Mike    ;D

However, the game designers do have a window of some six Months there, headrests came August 1968, orange/red taillights early 1969  :P

A clear statistical probability.  But fun to nitpick anyway.

Yes,
that's absolutely correct:

[ Quote]  However, the game designers do have a window of some six Months there, headrests came August 1968 with VIN 004052, standard on US-delivery cars but only optional for all other region-cars, late-style orange/red taillights early 1969, February '69 with with VIN 007938 for non-US cars but only later with serial 011041 for US-delivered W113s. All best,

So now we need to find out where the Developers were based.  California, I suppose, or maybe Vietnam, China, or India.  What was the starting VIN to those countries, Achim?

This is so FUN!
